Quint Wellington Redwood to Unveil its “Redefining Education” Campaign at the IT Service Management Forum USA Fusion 2010

23 August 2010

Quint Wellington Redwood, (Quint) a leader in IT management consulting and training, announced today that its educational arm, Quint Academy, is participating in the IT Service Management Forum USA (itSMF) Fusion 2010 Show for IT professionals. The company will exhibit its broad Quint Academy curriculum of Education Solutions including information about its ITIL® and ISO/IEC 20000 offerings at Booth 2220 at the Kentucky Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky on September 19 – September 22, 2010. Additionally, Quint will unveil its campaign, “Redefining Education” – bringing to the forefront the importance of melding real-world experience with practical applications to advance IT departments within an organization.

“We are thrilled to be participating again this year in the itSMF Show,” stated Rene Hagen, Quint’s COO. “The event provides Quint significant exposure to the North American IT community in attendance, as well as serves as an excellent forum to launch our revolutionary campaign, Redefining Education. We are grateful to have the opportunity to have such a prestigious event as itSMF serve as the first leg of our exciting journey.”

itSMF USA is a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to advancing ITIL good practices and standards in the IT service management (ITSM) industry. Now in its 10th year, itSMF USA Fusion unites nearly 2,000 IT professionals for this convention and is the largest, most comprehensive gathering of Service Management professionals in North America.

When asked for a sneak preview of what is behind Quint’s “Redefining Education” campaign, Hagen indicated, “While much more information will be forthcoming, what I can say is that as part of our ‘Redefining Education’ campaign we will be introducing our proprietary system that customizes training paths for professionals based on their role in the department, level of experience, as well as a host of other criteria. This way, rather than individuals having to navigate themselves through lists of course descriptions, prerequisites, etc., our goal is to create a personalized plan for each person, outlining what specific courses they should take, when and how they’re available, and what order to take them in. I guess you could say it’s like having your own virtual educational counselor.”
